I always stuck with the simple video games growing up because I was never very good at them. One game that I always did play was Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1. The video below is my critique of the movements that are used in this game.
Great choice in a video game! I like how you incorporated the game's use of actual skateboarding movement to enhance gameplay and provide a realistic approach. Also, I agree that using parallel movement is key to engaging the player and getting them excited to perform new tricks.
